LEXUS LX450 // 80 SERIES
the details
1997 Lexus LX450 - It has some slight modifications, it is triple locked from the factory (very sought after), its ridiculously clean inside and out for being 28 years old.
I purchased this in hopes to keep working on it and drive it as a beach/Mountain bike rig. It's time for me to move on as I don't have room to keep storing it, and have other projects I need to work on. I bought it with 159k miles on it, and have only put 8k miles since purchasing. Current mileage 167***. For the year, ’97, the mileage is really low. Most copies from 1997 have about 250k+ miles.
I’ve put about $25-30k into in the last few years, restoring bits and pieces with factory parts, cleaning up leaks, and making this thing pristine. This vehicle has been a CA car all its life, and was owned by an older couple before I purchased it. I’m pretty sure they never took it in the dirt and just drove it around Newport Beach.
From what I know, it’s never been in an accident. The front grill does have some small cracks in it and little dings, but other than that, I couldn’t find anything else wrong with the body. The CARFAX came up clean, and it has a clean CA title. All body panels still have the factory VIN numbers.

This copy is rust free, and has been in CA all its life. The white paint is in great condition. It has some little blemishes from wear and tear, but nothing extreme. I've kept it waxed every 6 months. It is the original paint from Lexus. The two tone does have some clear coat peeling from the age, and some scratches/dings in it. In all, I’d say the paint is a 8/10 for its age.
I've uploaded some photos of it with all versions of its life since I've owned it. The first (4) photos are of its current state and were taken 11/12/2025.
Let me know what ever other photos you might want, and I can go snag them for you.
It drives amazing, it passes smog, and I have the title in hand ready to go.
Thanks for your consideration.
